Polymer Search is founded by Ash Gupta (former AI Tech Lead at Google) and Yasser Ansari (serial entrepreneur and former design agency owner that helped businesses like Google, Pinterest, and Twitter). This role will allow you to work directly with the founders.

We are looking for a bright-minded and creative individual to join our collaborative and fast-paced team. Polymer Search is based in the US with a global remote team. This role is open to anyone around the world but will require availability during EST work hours (9 am-5 pm).

Desired attributes

• 4+ years experience in well-performing Javascript for frontend and backend.

• 3+ years Node experience.

• Experience working with Node.js libraries to create performant and robust backends.

• Experience working with remote asynchronous APIs and quality error handling

• Experience working with databases (NoSQL/SQL) and in-memory stores: MongoDB, MySql, Postgres, Redis

• Have written integrated and automated tests for testing complex systems.

• Scalable and performant Data source integration (e.g. Google Sheets, SQL databases, Google Ads, Facebook Ads and so on)

• Some experience with messaging systems for cross-machine or cross-process communications. (e.g. Rabbit MQ)

• Some experience with DevOps and Deployment (AWS)

  • EC2, S3, ECS etc.

• Working with different web architectures and technologies (Load balancing, performance instrumentation, logging, queuing technologies, databases)

• Frontend

  • Vue.js experience (or React and can pick up Vue.js)
  • Comfortable with HTML/CSS and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap
  • Comfortable using Chrome or Firefox Dev Tools to debug and instrument web

• Working with team

  • Enjoy collaborating and communicating proactively.
  • Enjoy celebrating progress and seeing the impact of their work on users. We are very user-driven and our product is external/self-serve, so the impact of your work is quite immediate.
