In Polymer, blocks are what make up a board & can be used to find insights in the data.
To add blocks, use the ➕ Add option in the left sidebar. Choose from our selection of charts, tables, & other visualizations.
Once a block is added, the ✏️ Setup menu will appear where you can choose which columns to populate the chart with. This menu can be accessed again by clicking the setup icon on the chart or clicking in a chart’s title area.

Within the setup menu of many blocks (as mentioned in the above section), is an option called [Slice]. A slice is a way to further breakdown the data.
For example, you can measure your total monthly sales in a time series, but perhaps you’re interested to breakdown these monthly sales by region or product category. This is where slicing can help!
