A workspace is where you add & manage data & boards in Polymer. You could have just one workspace or create multiple to work on different datasets & board with different groups or teams.
A colleague or client can be added to your workspace by going to the 👤 ➕ icon in the top right corner of the workspace. The settings page will open, already navigated to the workspace member section.
You can add the email of the desired new member & then adjust their permissions as outlined below. Please pay attention to the details below as it affects data access & billing!
As a workspace admin, you will be able to remove members or adjust their permissions if their access should change in the future.
This is the highest level of access someone can have to your data in Polymer. A can-edit workspace member will be able to view everything in the workspace with exception to billing information.
Can-edit members can also add their own data & boards or edit existing ones.
These members are paid for under the same account & billing details of the workspace admin.
Can-view members are only able to view the boards of a workspace & cannot access the data sources, edit the boards, or add anything of their own.
This level of access if very similar to simply sharing a link to an individual board with a guest, however, a can-view workspace member can access all boards of the workspace & their access to view the boards is protected by their Polymer login credentials.
These members are free to add.
